• Participants will be able to lead students in an experiment to demonstrate the existence of at least two types of electrical charge.
  • Participants will be able to show students various types of waves and aspects of wave behavior.
  • Participants will be able to show their students, through their photographs or videos of the workshop, that they were witnesses to the aspects of the nature of the electron and the atom that were seen during the workshop.
  • Participants will be able to conceptually justify key aspects of the quantum mechanical model of the atom.
  • Participants will be able to inform students on the results of spectroscopic studies by the Hubble and the Spitzer Space Telescopes, as well as those of the Curiosity Mars Rover.
